Where PTC Inc. does well
- Arbitration 0 of 20. Nothing found.
- No forced arbitration or class-action waiver anywhere in PTC's documents — Section 12.8 of the Master SaaS Agreement sends disputes to the specified courts instead.
- PTC's Privacy Statement states 'It is PTC's policy to never sell or share your information with third parties for commercial gain.' The SaaS/Mobile App sub-policy says 'All Personal Information will be removed from our systems when you deregister/close your account.' The SaaS sub-policy also promises not to view or listen to chat/call content in its messaging services ('We do not view or listen to the content of your chats or calls made via any Service').

The fine print
6 clauses and findings from the draft archive, dated 1 October 2026. The plain English comes first; the small print is the company's own words. None of these has been checked yet.

PTC can rewrite the contract on its own, and just posting it online starts the 30-day clock — some changes take effect immediately. If you keep using the software, that counts as agreeing to the new terms.
PTC may make changes to this Agreement from time to time. Material changes to this Agreement will become effective 30 days after they are posted, except to the extent the changes apply to new functionality or the DPA, or are required by applicable law, in which case they will be effective immediately. ... Customer's continued use of [the Services constitutes acceptance].

Once you sign, you cannot cancel mid-term, get no refund, and cannot shrink your subscription — you are locked into the full committed amount even if you need less.
payment obligations are noncancelable and fees paid are nonrefundable, and quantities purchased cannot be decreased during the relevant Services subscription term.
-
Subscriptions renew on whatever terms are in your order form, and if you try to renew at a lower volume you lose your old per-unit price — PTC can reprice upward at renewal.
The term of each Services subscription shall be as specified in the applicable Order Form, and shall renew in accordance with the terms set forth in such Order Form. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, any renewal in which Services subscription volume has decreased from the prior term will result in repricing at renewal without regard to the prior term's per-unit pricing.

How these were found
Documents actually read via browser_open: PTC Privacy Statement (effective 2025-08) at ptc.com/en/documents/policies/privacy; SaaS and Mobile App Users Privacy Sub-Policy (effective January 1, 2025) at ptc.com/en/documents/policies/privacy/saas-mobile-app-users; Master SaaS Agreement (May 2026 revision) via PTC's Sitecore content hub; PTC Customer Agreement for Vuforia Engine & Cloud Recognition Service (Rev. April 2022) via PTC's Sitecore content hub; Legal Policies page. Two clauses (fees noncancelable/nonrefundable; free/trial no opt-out) came from search-result snippets of those same PTC-hosted documents, not a full page read. PTC is a B2B industrial-software company, so its terms are enterprise-style contracts: no consumer auto-renew traps or forced arbitration exist to score; the score is kept modest accordingly. No changes made to ptc.com Terms of Use page found (legal policies page only states site content may change without notice).
